Naproxen for Gout

Doctors prescribe naproxen for gout to reduce the pain and swelling that gout brings to your body. Naproxen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug just like ibuprofen and indomethacin. This type of drug is used to help reduce the pain and swelling.
